When life happens...

We recently got a call from a prospective new customer in Norfolk who came to us through a referral. We set an appointment, met with her, and discussed her vision for her yard.

The very next day, she called us in a total panic.

She had previously hired another company to lay sod. They showed up at her house without a sod cutter and told her they were just going to drop off the grass and leave it there without installing it!

Jason immediately stepped in, set her mind at ease, and took control of the situation. Tomorrow, we will be on-site to install her new sod the right way.

We get these types of calls —homeowners stressed out and unhappy with the results of a botched or unfinished job by unequipped contractors.

We ❤️❤️❤️ a Bloodgood Japanese Maple! It is really ideal as a landscape centerpiece. This ornamental tree is great for winter landscapes as the red is a beautiful contrast fall color to the evergreen trees. It's easy to grow and very aesthetically pleasing. This tree grows 15-25 ft tall, 20 ft wide at maturity, growing at approx 1-2 ft per year. It thrives in zones 5-8.

The tree prefers full sun to part shade and slightly acidic, well-drained soil conditions for best results. Plant in partial shade Watering is key to ensuring properly establishes its root system upon initial growth in the first year. Soil moisture should stay damp but no wet feet.
