When itā€™s only 77Ā°F outside, the pavement can reach 125Ā°F. At those temperatures, your dogā€™s paw pads can burn in as little as 60 seconds.

A simple test:
āœ‹ Place the back of your hand on the asphalt for 7 seconds. If itā€™s too hot for your hand, itā€™s too hot for your dogā€™s paws.
