NRI was awarded a prime contract today to provide Communications and Program Support for the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC)! USAASC is a Direct Reporting Unit supporting the Army’s acquisition mission through superior personnel development systems and management support capabilities. Providing direct support to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)), USAASC’s mission is to act as ASA(ALT)’s executive agent in support of the Army acquisition community at all levels by shaping and developing world-class professionals and providing superior support to assigned Program Executive Offices.

NRI is looking to fill an Enterprise Architect position. The person selected will provide a framework and practice that integrates the Strategy Development and Lifecycle Management Process by planning and synchronizing organizational processes, information, and technology. In addition, the EA will research, develop, document, and analyze enterprise, operational, and system architectures. The EA develops conformant models and associated data; and works with functional subject matter experts to collect and describe both current and future capabilities, operational activities, system functions, business processes, operational and system performers, and associated data and attributes. The Enterprise Architect prepares, staffs, and publishes formal architecture documents, and conducts staff actions (tasks, papers, briefings, etc.) as required.
The Enterprise Architect will have a minimum of a secret clearance, experience using Troux and System Architect, and knowledge of SharePoint. Security + certification is preferred as is experience with DoD Architecture Framework. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (or 4 years of relevant experience) and 5+ years of experience in Systems/Software Engineering.
NRI is looking to hire a Business Development Specialist (BDS). He/she is accountable to the VP, Business Development and works directly with the BD team to assist in all facets of business development. He/she will work within a team to identify opportunities in the Federal Civilian market and will work as the capture manager in this market. The BDS will need to develop and sustain client relationships through market-facing activities, i.e., meetings, presentations, business networking and/or other business or social events. The second award, 1st place for a website/blog, was awarded at the MG Keith L. Ware Public Affairs Competition, which recognizes Soldiers and Department of the Army civilian employees for excellence in achieving the objectives of the Army Public Affairs Program.
