Good morning! So I have some needs and I think y’all can help. I would like to collect at least 100 jackets by October 31st. If anyone has jackets they are willing to donate and/or would like to buy jackets so that we can meet this number, please drop off at:
900 Esther Blvd, Bryan, TX 77802

Or you can contact me on here and I can pick up.

Other donations needed are: backpacks, hygiene items, socks, portable foods (cans of food with lift tabs). These types of items will be combined and given to the homeless in Bryan/College Station.

I will have more goals and needs very soon, so be ready to join in and know you are so very appreciated!

I apologize for not being on top of things since I started back to work. I am resigning from my job and after the 28th of this month, I am putting all of my effort into this project. We will be meeting tonight at the Habitat for Humanity Warehouse in Bryan after 5:00 pm tonight and if you are interested in coming to see what we are doing, please send me a message. Good Hump Day to all! I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer temps, I know I am. So our first official meeting will be tomorrow, Thursday March 11th, at 5:30 pm. If you are in the group that has already contacted me to h**p in one way or another, you will be given the address today. I look forward to working with this incredible team and we will make all of the difference in changing the Brazos Valley, one Blessing Box at a time!

Good Morning! Good morning all of my Giving Table friends! My Giving Table is back up and running now that there is not a freeze outside. If anyone needs to get rid of items, please feel free to drop them off on my table or by my front door anytime.

On another note, today a group of us will be meeting at the Habitat for Humanity warehouse to assess some plans and what is available to us, at 2:00 pm. If you are interested in the building part, please send me a message and I can give you the address. I am looking forward to getting this project up and running ASAP!

So I’ve had many many contractors tell me they were interested in building Blessing Boxes with me and I now only have 1 remaining. If you or anyone you know is interested in giving back to the Brazos Valley and not allowing them to go hungry as they have this past week, please let me know. The more builders we have the faster this will go. I have resources of wood and shingles to build them and a place with tools and equipment to do it. Just need the people and an idea of what else is needed and how much it will cost.

Hello wonderful Giving Table family! Today so the final day of the Brazos Valley Blessings food drive pick up at Peace Lutheran Church in College Station. We will be giving out food to those in need from noon-4:00 today. If you are in need or know someone in need for food, diapers, cleaning supplies or clothing please come or send people to :

Today is another huge day of giving! Amber Sharbree from Brazos Valley Blessings and a whole mess of incredibly godly people have been picking up, dropping off and organizing one of the biggest food drives I’ve seen in a while. We will be meeting at Peace Lutheran church at 11:00 today to distribute all the food to those who signed up on the distribution forms on her page. It will be an amazing day!

I apologize for the lack of information on my page. With the insane weather we are having here in Texas, we are all just buckling down to stay warm and safe. I cannot wait until this passes and we can get moving on building our numerous Blessing Boxes, as a team.

Urgent Help Needed:

We have been contacted by a couple with a dog, that are living out of their car. They are trying to find a way to stay in a hotel while it’s cold out this weekend into next week. This is new to me, so I am not sure what we can do to help them. The boyfriend is willing to house or yard work to pay for their room. If you can help with this, please let me know!

Welcome Y’all! I am starting something comepletelt outside my comfort zone, but I believe if God calls you to it, He will get you through it. It is already becoming so much larger than I ever knew it would.

The Giving Table was created because I believe that God has a calling and purpose for everyone. He revealed to me that, while we are truly blessed, many are not sharing these same blessing, or basic needs. Many are suffering in the Brazos Valley right under our noses and need to be reached. The belief that we can be Jesus as in Matthew 25:35: “For I was hungryand you gave me food, for I was thirsty and You gave me drink; I was a stranger and you let me in; I needed clothes and You clothed me; I was sick and You looked after me; I was in prison and You visited me.” We must serve as the hands and feet of God, helping those in need.

The Giving Table will do a few things: 1) Adopt families in need and help them with basic essentials: food, clothing, etc.
2) Build Blessing Boxes for churches and homes throughout the Brazos Valley
3) Stuff backpacks for the homeless and eventually work with a local restaurant or two to provide a warm/cold meal for them, as well.
