When the perfect rug doesn’t exist, you create it. ✨

Many, many months in the making, this custom rug was truly worth the wait! Working with Wonderwhim Interiors & rugs by Ashley Obradovits , we hand-selected each color pom to perfectly coordinate with the scenic mural from Susan Harter Muralpapers and the soft blue tones in the chair fabric.

After color selections, strike-offs, approvals, adjustments—and lots of patience—it finally arrived. 🤍

Seeing how beautifully it ties the entire room together made the wait completely worth it.

It’s all in the details. ✨

The perfect stain doesn’t always come straight out of a can. 🤎

Selecting a hardwood stain is one of those decisions that’s best made on site, on the actual flooring. We tested several custom stain combinations directly on the red oak to see how each one interacted with the natural grain, undertones, and lighting in the space.

At first glance, they may all look the same—but they’re not. Subtle shifts in warmth, depth, and tone can completely change the finished look. A little trial and error, a lot of comparing, and eventually, the right one.

Because sometimes, the smallest differences make the biggest impact.

Enjoying a beautiful dinner in Santorini and admiring the floor, which is the same tile we used for a Frontenac renovation last year! 😍

Years in the making… and finally entering the final stretch.

From exposed framing and construction cones to paneled walls, vaulted wood ceilings, and custom millwork — watching this home come to life has been incredibly rewarding.

Same rooms. Different phase. Almost there. ✨
