The reach-in cooler was completely empty due to a leak in the condensation drain pan. I purged the system with 250 psi of nitrogen and leak-checked with bubbles. I found the leak, soldered it, pulled a vacuum, and factory-charged the unit with 1 lb of R-134a.

You have to get those coils cleaned. Look at the difference in the supply temperature before and after cleaning the coil...
