Giving Back, Together. 📚🎒

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our WIC members, this year's School Supply Drive was another huge success!

Together, we collected an amazing amount of school supplies and essential items for Youth In Need, helping support the more than 10,000 families they serve each year throughout our community.

Every backpack, notebook, pencil, and supply donated helps students start the school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this drive possible. Your generosity continues to demonstrate the strength of our industry and our commitment to giving back.

📚✏️ Help Us Fill Backpacks & Brighten Futures! ✏️📚

SMACNA St. Louis Women in Construction (WIC) is proud to host our Annual School Supply Drive benefiting Youth In Need from July 27–31.

Youth In Need serves local children in foster care, families in crisis, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Your donation can help ensure children in our community start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

🎒 We are collecting:
• School supplies for all ages
• Backpacks, notebooks, folders, binders, calculators, and more
• Art supplies, crayons, markers, and glue
• Hygiene items, diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, and clothing

Our Women in Construction (WIC) group had an incredible time volunteering at Feed the Need St. Louis!

Together, we packed 849 boxes of meals — totaling 183,384 meals for those in need. 💛

It’s hard to ignore the reality that hunger claims a life every 4 seconds across the globe, which makes opportunities like this even more meaningful. We’re proud to support such an important cause and give back to our community in a hands-on way.

A special thank you to American Metals for providing our team t-shirts — we looked great while doing good!
