➡️ How would you describe your boutique?
"SGK Boutique is a women's boutique where style, confidence, and community come together. We offer chic, affordable clothing with a mix of elevated everyday essentials, quality denim, comfortable basics, seasonal trends, and versatile pieces that can easily transition from work to weekends or a night out.
Our sizing generally ranges from XS-XL, depending on the style and brand. We are especially known for helping women find the right fit and teaching them how to dress for their individual body proportions. The atmosphere is welcoming, honest, and personal-we want every woman to feel comfortable trying something new and leave feeling more confident than when she walked in."

➡️ How long have you been in the fashion industry and what is your background?
"I have more than 20 years of experience in retail, customer service, and multi-management. I opened SGK Boutique in November 2024 with the goal of creating more than just another clothing store. I wanted to create a fashion destination where women could receive personalized help, learn why certain styles work for their bodes, and build wardrobes that feel authentic to who they are."

➡️ What is your favorite part about owning a boutique?
"My favorite part is helping women see themselves differently. There is nothing better than watching someone try on an outfit they never would have chosen for themselves and seeing their confidence completely change. I also love the relationships we continue to build with our customers and Springfield community."

➡️ What all do you offer as a financial advisor and how long have you been an advisor?
"I have been in this industry now for 14 years, which is hard to believe! I came from a completely different educational background, with a master's degree in cell and molecular biology. When I first entertained this industry, my impression of the field was somewhat negative (viewed it as hard selling products, getting the biggest commissions, etc.), but after I shadowed Bill Peterman, found & CEO at Peterman Financial Group for a few weeks, I fell in love." 💰

"We are a very unique office in the fact we don't just have Financial Advisor's, we also have multiple CPA's, multiple CFP's, I am on an Advanced Planning team, and we also have an advisor who is an active ER Physician. Crazy, right? Our unique backgrounds allow us to offer advice to our clients in the realms of investments, retirement, insurance, estate planning, business planning, taxes, Medicare, Social Security, and just about any other financial thing you can think of."

➡️ What is your favorite part of your job?
"When I started in this profession, my answer would have been the intellectual challenge the market, economy, and investments possess. I have always enjoyed challenge, hence, my degree in cell biology, and this field has its own way of presenting that.
But now, by far my favorite thing is to learn someone's unique story and to then be able to help them reach their financial goals. That level of trust and confidence is an honor and one I do not take lightly." ⚖️

➡️ What do you do in your free time?
"Play time with my kiddos is by far my favorite activity, albeit, very tiring one (LOL). I love to lift, enjoy outdoors time, read, and play basketball." 🏀🏋️
