Afforded the opportunity to pour a concrete step for some amazing new clients. It’s hard to beat a job that’s outside, makes a big impact, and has clients with great conversations. Easy to feel blessed. First, I cleared away their landscape rocks and pavers before excavating the ground.Next, I built my forms and laid a good base. Putting in rebars to attach to the porch and give the concrete a lot of structural support. Then, I mixed and poured the concrete. Floating, troweling and once ready, I broomed it to prevent a slick surface in the winter. Finally, let it cure for a few days before removing forms and fixing the landscaping rocks/pavers. I’m definitely grateful for jobs and clients like these. Things are constantly improving.

All in a day!

Graciously amped about the momentum, constant progression, and opportunities showing up.

Got to put up some outdoor lights, run power, pick up a couple piles of debris today. All while working with a buddy.

Got to dive into covering windows and putting up new siding on this house.

Already knocked out most of the wall repair and base layer priming.

Getting ready to do a couple more tasks and then get it painted.

Had the opportunity to replace the posts and angle braces on a clients porch today.
I also got to do some repairs on her siding and fence entrance.

She was truly a blessing to work for, so full of joy.

Got blessed on getting to work with my brother on this one, sometimes it’s just hanging out and doing tasks and we tell everyone it was work 😏😎💪🏻

Got the boxes built, painted and drilled to fit the lantern stems.

Removed the old lights, put it all together and wired them into place.

I love working for the Kim’s.
It always feels like we are just catching up, then I’m doing tasks, and then we hangout for a bit until next time!

Grateful for the work and hospitality from them!

Stepping out of a season and stepping into a new one.

Yesterday was my last day at Power’s Gates & Lighting.
I was there for three years and am extremely grateful for the grace, patience, love, support, constant lessons, and prayers.

It’s always bittersweet to move on but like they said, it’s the point of showing up and getting better then moving forward. Besides, it’s just a see you later.

I’ve been blessed with many people who have supported me to get back into business myself. I started my company, On His Way Handyman Services LLC a few months ago and am now full time.

Very grateful and excited for the new season of growth, business, and learning to take place.

Progress on my exterior painting job for a customer in Rogersville, MO.

80% prep work, 20% actually spraying. lol

Really pumped for how it’s all going to turn out, it’s steadily coming along.

Blessed to have such an opportunity!

Current recent progress on this exterior painting.

Finishing up the porch today and then hitting the soffit, fascia, and gutters along the stone section of the front.

Then prepping and starting the front of the house that’s back to all siding.

Excited to keep moving along and transforming this beautiful home in Rogersville.

Upon completing the house, I’ll hit the backside of the garage and finally, apply paint to the pool house.

It’s coming along great 😁💪🏻🙌🏻
