Not every milestone in a hospital is measured by medicine. Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when we have the privilege of honoring what matters most to a patient.
Hubert was transported to TriStar Horizon Medical Center's Emergency Room after suffering a heart attack.
He survived and entered the Inpatient Rehabilitation program.
This morning, Hubert shared a special request: He wanted to be baptized.
What began as a simple request quickly became a labor of love.
Hubert's family, minister, and Horizon team came together to create a meaningful baptism experience, allowing him to be surrounded by his granddaughter and loved ones for a moment that will be remembered long after his hospital stay.
