Our third issue of Home Diaries is live! I’m always so honored to see our homes get built. The stories behind the pretty pictures are even better though - folks turning their build into a home, why they decided to build, and how they made it happen… these stories will never get old.

Andy and Becky reached out in 2023 - in love with The Hangout (V1) for their property in Maine. They used the plan as-is, with the home fitting perfectly on their unique lot.

Over the last two years, Andy and Becky put all of the pieces into place to make their home a reality. Building a home from afar was no small feat, so they leaned into the welcoming nature of their small town community to help make it possible. Now, their family is looking forward to spending quality time on the lakes of Maine - and sharing the home with other families as well (hint hint: you can rent it!).

The Kinfolk has landed in Idaho! I’m gonna head that way and book myself a little vacation… who’s coming with me?!?!

This beautiful build is available to rent on ! just completed the build using The Kinfolk Build Set as their blueprints. I love the personal touches they added… especially that hot tubbb! 😄

Sitting quietly on the coast of Prince Edward Island, the home is humble in it’s surroundings. 🌊🏠

This semi-custom version of The Hangout is simplified from the original design, geared towards hosting getaway adventures. Our design studio worked 1:1 with the client to make the entire living, dining & kitchen area vaulted, rearranging the upper level to host an office nook and primary suite. It was a great collaboration using The Hangout as our starting template.

It’s coming along, don’t you think? ✨☺️

Moments of Home ✨ The 3/4 Cabin home plan is all about playful, cozy spaces, like this desk nook overlooking the sun-filled stairwell. I love the way the windows interact in this view at ✨ 👀 Peep those nice drywall returns at the windows and beautiful wood ceiling. Love!

The Hangout V3 is here! 👀➡️ The floor plans for this version came together through fun community Q/A and great feedback from all of you!

This new layout features:
🚪A single entry for a more functional laundry and mudroom.
🛌 A primary suite with a little extra elbow room.
🛀 A soaking tub in the primary bathroom!
🖥️ An office/flexroom, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a lounge upstairs.

Needless to say, this version packs a punch! The Planning Set for the V3 is available now, and the Build Set is soft launched with a celebratory 20% off - just send us a message and we’ll share the discount code.

More progress on our client’s build in Maine with . A desire for specific programming and some site restrictions led us to design a custom plan for this project. Beyond thrilled with how it is turning out and pumped to working alongside the amazing team at Croft!

The Kinfolk V2 comes to life in Maine! I love the low, subtle entry elevation (swipe to image 2) matched with the sunny, window-forward, back elevation. Plus, that black vertical board is looking good! More to come from this fun client build.
