An Update on Alex's Recovery
Thank you to everyone who has given, shared, and sent kind words since we started this fundraiser. Your generosity has meant the world to Alex and his family.
We wanted to share where things stand. Unfortunately, complications from his initial treatment have caused additional injury. His foot has become badly swollen, blistered, and infected, and that means he can't yet have the surgery he needs. He met with his surgeon last week and was told he'll need to wait at least two more weeks before they can reassess whether surgery is possible.
This is a hard setback. It means a longer road to recovery and more time away from the work.
If you're able, please consider giving or sharing this page with friends, family, and colleagues. Every contribution, large or small, helps him focus on healing instead of worrying about bills. If you can't give, your prayers and well wishes are just as appreciated. We'd love to pass along your messages of encouragement. Please leave a note in the comments, and we'll make sure he sees them.
Thank you for standing with Alex through this!
