Inverter upgrade on a Class A Grand Design RV.

The original Magnum inverter charger had failed, leaving the owner without a way to charge the system. We replaced it with a Victron unit to restore functionality and improve overall reliability.

After removing the original inverter, the new unit fit perfectly in the existing space, which made for a clean install.

I had the owner back up and running in a single afternoon.

Electrical overhaul on an Express 33.

The owner reached out after having issues with a previous install that was never fully completed. When the original inverter charger failed, the replacement process stalled, leaving the system unfinished.

I flew up to New York and got everything squared away.
The system was upgraded to a Victron Quattro 10k, giving full use of the AC circuits while on the water. I also corrected the shunt wiring from the previous install and added a Cerbo for remote monitoring and system control.

Space in the engine bay was extremely tight, which made layout and serviceability a challenge, but everything came together clean and functional.

I will be heading back up to the marina in New York in the near future. If you are along the route and need electrical work or want to discuss a project, feel free to reach out!

Full system overhaul on a Black Series camper.

This build was centered around a high capacity, fully integrated off grid power system. The setup includes four Dakota Lithium 320Ah batteries, a Victron Quattro inverter charger, dual shore power inlets, and a 50A DC to DC charger.

Dual solar controllers manage both the roof array and an additional 1,200W of auxiliary panels. A Victron Cerbo with touchscreen provides full system monitoring and control.

I also added USB outlets and a dedicated cooling fan to improve usability and keep everything operating safely.

This was a very tight install, but everything was laid out clean and serviceable.

If you are planning a serious power upgrade, feel free to reach out!

Another upgrade on this Pause 22.4.

This unit received a fully integrated auxiliary fresh water tank along with a redesigned filtration system.

The auxiliary tank ties directly into the factory system, to make a total of 107 gallons of fresh water. All the original functions are retained. Winterization, siphon, and Garmin monitoring all work as intended, with the ability to monitor each tank individually. A switch in the water compartment allows you to choose which tank to draw from at any time. A dedicated drain and overflow were also added to ensure proper operation during filling and use.

For filtration, I took a different approach on this build. Instead of mounting under the sink, the filters were installed in the front storage compartment. This keeps valuable kitchen space open and makes filter changes much easier. There are several viable mounting locations on this model, but this setup works especially well for accessibility.

In addition, a separate drinking water system was added with its own dedicated faucet. This system is isolated from the main supply and includes its own shutoff and low point drain, allowing it to be winterized independently or together with the main system.
Simple changes that add a lot of capability and flexibility for extended use.

Recent travel job down in Georgia on a 2025 Keystone Montana 5th wheel.

I met the owner at River Mills State Park and set the camper up with a dual DC to DC charging system, delivering 100A of charge while on the road.

This setup keeps the batteries topped off during travel and makes a significant difference for higher capacity systems or extended off grid use.

I’m always happy to help get systems operating the way they should, no matter where the job takes me.

More photos of a couple mods on this Pause 22.4.

The kitchen setup is now complete with a GE oven and cooktop combo replacing the factory 3 burner and convection microwave. We removed the microwave to make room for a full size cabinet, which brings back usable storage in a much better way.

I included a photo of the cabinet during test fit, but the owner is handling the final wood finish and backsplash, so I do not have finished photos at this time.

The Starlink install was straightforward using a mount that keeps the unit easily removable. I hardwired a new connection on the roof so it can stay mounted during travel, but it can still be removed and placed on the ground using the factory cable when needed.

Simple upgrades that make the rig much more functional day to day.

If you are considering similar mods in your own setup, feel free to reach out.

A few recent upgrades on an MDC 16.

Installed an electric tongue jack along with upgraded heavy duty stabilizer jacks to make setup quicker and more stable in camp.
Also added a Victron SmartShunt, Cerbo, and GX Touch screen.

This gives the owner full system visibility, and with a WiFi connection, the trailer’s state of charge can now be monitored remotely. It also provides a solid foundation if they decide to expand into a complete Victron system down the road.

Simple upgrades that make a big difference in day to day use.

Another new modification for the Pause 22.4 in progress.

The owner came to me frustrated with the factory convection microwave, so we decided to remove the microwave and 3 burner setup and replace it with a proper RV oven and cooktop combo.

This provides a much more usable cooking setup for longer trips.
We are also adding a cabinet in place of the microwave so no storage space is lost in the process.

More to come as this build continues.

If you are considering changes like this in your own setup, feel free to reach out.
