Kane Craft Guitars A mediocre musician/former carpenter, trying to figure out how to build guitars in a 3rd story apartment through a comedy of errors.

Sold the pallet wood guitar a couple weeks ago, but recorded a little demo right before I shipped it. Finally got around to piecing the video together, full version on YouTube, try to find it if you’d like.

Introducing Kane Craft HQ 2.0

This page has been dark for a good minute now, turns out owning a house is hard.. I'm itching to get back to building guitars, and having this space will be a huge upgrade to the apartment balcony and that I was using. Obviously needs some work to get the shop up and running, so sit tight, guitars will be coming next year. But for now maybe I'll start posting some shop/home remodel updates, I'm sure that's what everybody's here to see. ✌️

Well after replacing every piece of electronics and banging my head against the wall for weeks, I finally discovered the issue I was having with this guitar was simply that the output jack was making some contact with the shielding in the back cavity.🤦🏼‍♂️ Rookie mistake. But finally, this thing is up for sale.. for full description, specs and all the technical mumbo jumbo follow the link in the bio.

Want to hear more sound demos? Give me some song recommendations (this was like the only solo I [sorta] know how to play)

Just sold the last neck rest from the first round made, so I wanted to take a sec to thank everyone for the support. Been almost a year since I bought my first kit guitar, and about halfway through I had already purchased another slab of wood, knowing it was only going to be the first of many. I'm still operating at a bit of a limited capacity at the moment, but hopefully at some point this year I will get a full shop set up and ramp up production. For now, I've repurposed some cut off pieces into a few pick trays that should be up for sale in a couple days. Still got a few more pieces kicking around that are not the right size/shape for neck rests or pick trays... so anything else you folks would like to see? Tools? Wall hanger possibly?

Been pretty quiet about this one, (and everything in general) mostly cause I wasn't sure this would actually work, but it seems to be holding up. Body made of pallet wood that I ripped down and veneered loaded with single P-90, mahogany neck with padauk fretboard. Couple more finishing touches and I'll be putting this this up for sale.

Okay, okay. We're going live with this GIVEAWAY.

It goes without saying 2020 has been a s**t year. There's been some good news in November, but we still have a long way to go as a country. Luckily, there have been a lot of people out there trying to make this world a better place, and help out those in need. And I would like to give them a chance at being rewarded. So, if you have donated your time or money to a charity organization this year, you will be entered to win this guitar.

If you haven't made a donation yet this year, fear not, as a donation of any kind/amount made by Nov. 30th will be counted, and a winner will be chosen at random on Dec. 1st. And, as an added incentive to dig a little deeper into those pockets or to get someone who has already donated to give again, any donation of more than $25 made between now and 11/30, will receive a hand printed t-shirt by yours truly. Give $25, get a crappy t-shirt, maybe win a guitar, sounds pretty good right?

Alright SMALL PRINT stuff (that's actually pretty important.) Giveaway only available in continental US and Canada. Winner will be responsible for all shipping costs. (If you're within an hour of Boston, MA, I'll deliver it to you at no cost) All donations are made independent of kanecraftguitars, there will be no collections of any kind on my part. Verifiable donations of any size, to any organization, are eligible and have no impact on chance of winning, but must have been made between 1/1/20-11/30/20 . Verification of donation must be sent via DM or email, [email protected], to enter giveaway. 🤙

Got a neck rest headed to for winning this week's giveaway! Glad it's going to a home where it'll see a lot of use.

If you'd like one for yourself and throw a little support my way, there's a few more of them up on my Etsy site, (is there a better shop format out there? I'm new to this selling stuff online thing) Anyway link's in the bio.

Alright dudes and dudettes, I've been trying to figure out what to do with this guitar. I was hoping to hold a raffle for it, but I guess in the eyes of the law even a small time raffle for charity is considered illegal gambling.

So I'm toying with the idea of doing another "giveaway," but to enter, you'd have to show proof of a donation to charity. Now I couldn't tell you where to donate, or how much, but I'm hoping people wouldn't just donate a couple bucks or something. To incentive this, I have a few T-shirts that I printed with the plan of selling them, however they turned out less than stellar. So if you were to donate more than say $25 I'd give you a shirt.
..is this something people would be in to?

Congrats to for winning the T-shirt giveaway, and thanks to all who participated.

This week's giveaway is for those who enjoy working on their guitars or even just changing strings from time to time. This alder neck rest is made from an off-cut of one the guitar builds, finished with polyurethane and padded with cork to protect ya neck!

Details to enter the giveaway are the same as last week, follow the page and like this post. No need to spam your friends by tagging anyone, but if you do feel like making your chances worse and sharing this, I guess I'd appreciate it. Winner will be chosen next Saturday (11/15/20).

Shirts and other neck rests now available on my Etsy shop, link in bio.

Templates?! Where we're going, we don't need templates!

(Yeah I know there's a little gap, gotta leave room for paint gosh! ...also this took me like 20 tries cause it was so windy today)

Enough movie references? Thought so. Really enjoying this new build, didn't really set out with a full plan, just kind of winging it and going with the happy accidents. Also, no one correctly guessed what its going to be, so I'll leave some cryptic hashtags.

Happy Halloween ya demons and di*****ds! Gonna be giving away a bunch of stuff this month to try to gain some followers for when I auction off the "Unity Strat".

Starting with this T-Shirt! Your choice of size/color. Just follow the page & like this post, and next Saturday (11/7/20) I'll randomly choose a winner!

These shirts will also be available for purchase, as soon as I finish refining the design a bit. So if you suck at winning random giveaways, never fear, you'll still be able to use your hard earned money to buy one.
