Whats on our mind today.

Ive noticed that in this industry companies are very unwilling to network with each other and work together.

I think all of us in this home service business area could benefit heavily from each other. Why did this thought pop up well ive noticed that big competitor companies are always working together. Like soda companies and phone companies. Samasung literally makes parts for Apple. Coke literally distributes other branded sodas for other companies.

We would benefit so much from each other if we just quit acting crazy and treating each other like competitors and start acting like team mates. Were all on the same team with similar goals in life.

When someone reaches out for advice I never hold back. I let anybody know what issues weve come across and how weve solved different issues. Issues were curing facing and how we are actively solving those issues. We can always learn from each other and help each other. We learn from other companies big and small everyday.

We recently took over this property after the client went through several companies who were either not showing up or did a poor cleanup. This is a work in progress. We plan to do a proper cleanup on this property and then start detailing these beds.

We hear too often how hard it is to find a good company who can actually do detail work like this. We show up every week to care for this place. We set aside a few hours every week to spend here.

You should see the before photos. We were told a company just did a major spring cleanup on this place. Youll notice lots of trees and palms and a few plants that still need removed. We showed up and got all the paths opened up and cleared and our next step is to start detailing the ground work and schedule out a proper cleanup to get all that frost damage out.

These are one of our favorite type of properties to care for. We will actually do a proper spring cleanup. We will actually get our hands dirty and hand trim every single plant on the property. When we say well set aside 2-4 hours every week to care for a place we mean it. We will show up.

Blades still cut good but the fins are finally worn to the point its not discharging correctly. These blades are game changing for a small 2 to 3 man crew. Never sharpened. Never swapped blades. Just keep on cutting. If you can get them I recommend trying them.

Gatortail turf is looking to put larger properties on our schedules. With this change we will also expand our service area to most of Volusia County for only property's 1.5 acres and above.

This will include commercial or residential. With this change we will also offer a discounted price for the first 2 months. We do not do per cut billing so this 2 month deal will only apply to regular service schedules.

When the mower is worth more than your truck and trailer combined.

Yall can still get a decent clean image without going 20k-40k in debt for a truck and trailer. Ole girl starts everyday and has never let me down. (I am ready to be out of this truck tho)

This is a 2wd v6 truck I bought for $1500. Sure she leaks oil but we spend a few $100 rebuilding the front end and doing a few other little repairs and shes rocking and rolling. My trailer i specially got for the colors. Only 3k for this little trailer. Awesome for a 1 to 2 man crew. Holds 2 mowers. Push mower. 2 blowers and double trimmers and edges. Also holds hedge trimmers and other tools.

Yall can easily find clean setups for under 5k. May not have ac or may be an old work truck that has stains in the carpet but its gamechanging having a dedicated work truck. Also youre not stressing about sending a guy out in it on his own.
