Wind damage is hard to see on laminated shingles. Here is what we call a "zipper." A zipper is when the shingles lift up due to wind in a diagonal "zipper" pattern. You can see it looks like just a corner of the shingle is lifting up. When you see the corner of a shingle lift like that move up to the next row and GENTLY pick up that corner. If it comes up without resistance go to the next row and try there as well. If you get two or more shingle corners that lift up You have a zipper. Sometimes the insurance adjusters will deny this claim and only pay for repair. If this happens call us immediately! There is a good probability we will get it bought.
