❄️ Winter is here, and so are ice dams!

Ice dams form when heat escapes from your roof, melting snow that refreezes at the colder overhang. This buildup can trap water behind it, causing leaks, damaged shingles, soaked insulation, mold, and even ruined drywall.

Watch for these early warning signs:
• Icicles forming along eaves
• Thick ice along the roof edge
• Uneven snow melting on your roof
• Water stains on ceilings, walls, or around windows
• Ice forming behind gutters or dripping into soffits

At K-Bay Ice Dam Co. we don’t just safely remove the ice—we identify the cause and provide a long-term fix, saving you headaches and costly repairs. 🏠🧊

As winter sets in, you might notice the beautiful icicles lining the edge of your roof. However, these icy formations indicate heat escaping from your house, causing snow on your roof to melt. This snow turns into water, flows down, and freezes at the roof's edge, creating an ice dam. As more snow melts, it becomes trapped behind this dam, and potentially leaking into your home.

Take action before costly repairs become necessary. We use hot steam to safely remove the ice without damaging your roof, guaranteed.
