9/11/01. 25 years later, and we still remember.
We remember every first responder who ran to the call that changed our country forever.
We remember the brave men and women who climbed flights of stairs in attempt to evacuate, and save those trapped in the towers. We remember those who spent days looking for survivors and months searching for deceased missing loved one at Ground Zero. We remember those who responded to the Pentagon, helping to contain the massive fires, while also running into the building to get people out. We remember the first responders who aided at the plane crash in Shanksville, after 33 brave men and women and 7 crew members aboard United Flight 93, fought against the hijackers leading to the crash.
As a firefighter operated business, September 11th is simply not just a day in history. It is a day extremely close to home, and we remember every single first responder who stood on the front lines that day, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
