This one was starting to dry out and lose its color.
Nothing crazy—just time doing what time does.

Cleaned it up, took the time on prep, and worked the stain in the way it’s supposed to be.
Now it’s protected and actually looks like part of the home again.

Want to see a transformation? I do this project a long while back. I haven’t shown it off in a while. I figure it’s worth looking at again! This home took about a week to complete and was extremely satisfying.

I am a handyman and I offer many other services. But I did start my career with a particular skill for painting. I take great pride in turning something like this into a work of art.

This last summer I had the privilege to work on this wonderful home. I worked with a Deck builder to help construct this deck. We removed the old one and installed this one months later I came back and Stained this with two coats of Cabot Natural. It turned out fantastic and still holds beautifully color and water resistance today!

Leaky shower head? The biggest cause of this problem that I see time and time again is that folks forget to add teflon tape to the threads. I know it seems trivial. But you also must wrap it around in the direction the threads go.
