This May, in recognition of Missing Persons Month, we are sharing the stories of those who are still missing because they are not forgotten. Our next case is Jennifer Forsythe.
Jennifer L. Forsythe’s mother reported last seeing her on July 19, 2016, when she left their home in the 4000 block of NE 28th Court in Ocala. She was wearing black cotton shorts, a white t-shirt, and flip flops.
During the investigation, detectives learned Jennifer had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and struggled with substance abuse. They also discovered she contacted an addiction treatment center in August and October of 2016, speaking with a staff member on both occasions.
Someone knows what happened to Jennifer. Even the smallest detail, something that may not have seemed important at the time, could be the missing piece that helps bring her home. If you have any information, please contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 352-732-9111.
