We had the Absolute Privilege of doing a Remodel for Mark Foil and Lacey Foil and let’s just say it was a Total Custom, One off, everything taken to the Upmost Fullest type of remodel!
We only had 3 Strict Guidelines to uphold.
1. They wanted something that no one else has!
2. They wanted me to put my vision and artistic ability in the entire project!
3. The Time it Takes is the Time it Takes!
Done deal I told them! And boy am I proud about this one!
This project consisted of taking out the wall to the kitchen and installing a load bearing beam, opening it up to the Dining. Knockdown and painting, new floors, All new custom stained black doors with black farmstyle trim to pair perfectly with them.
Installing new exterior Doors, and a One of a Kind, stunning Completely remodeled Main Bath!
4 Accent Walls!, 2 being shiplap- one is an entertainment accent wall with a handmade Mantel. And the other is in the back hallway to their Master Bedroom.
The other 2 being Farmstyle Board and Batten- one in the kitchen and one in the Dining bringing these spaces together!
To top it all off a they wanted Martz Made to do their thing, and that we did as well! A Handmade Cypress Dining room table, which is just eye catching you when you walk in!
To only take a few steps to be Mesmerized by the farmstyle wrap on the beams but also a touch of perfection in the center as a metal cap with an plasma cut F in it for Foil done by Kyle Wilcox Metal Syndicate Fabrication
and who don’t love the Edison Bulbs!!!!!!
Under it sits a Handmade Sinker! Island Top for their island. That is 2 slabs seamlessly put together and cut around their oven that is just Absolutely Breathtaking!.
One of the things that really sets this house apart is they Did NOT want Upper Cabintes, they wanted us to hand make floating shelves. So we decided to make them out of another Cypress Slab of the same log as the Dining Room table tying these 2 together!.
Along side the Kitchen accent wall sits a Stunning Breakfast Table that is a handmade White Stained Cottonwood slab selected at the crotch of a tree salvaging the beauty of the figuring!
Not to often do you get the chance to run with your ideas and creativity, and I can’t thank these 2 enough. It means the absolute world to me to be able to pour everything I have in these projects. I’m so grateful for the customers who are patient with the process and even more grateful to call you both friends.
Thank you again, and enjoy!
