Our ducks are the addition we never knew we needed. They're so full of personality and while they're not lap ducks, they definitely love to waddle around us and try to eat our fingers 😂 Also did you notice our boy is starting to feather out with his big boy feathers?

A bright indirect light will give the closest photo comparable to what the egg looks like in person.
Since I've been in the colorful egg game for a long time, I've reached all my goals. We have had everything from icy blue and army green to grey and purple, yes all from chickens! It's fun to play with egg colors and genetics, and contrary to what the farm-fluencers will tell you, you don't need to pay $100 a dozen for hatching eggs. You can make your own with simple breeds you can find at the feed store.

I fully understand that we will need to arrange a date for future babies, but not having a smelly, lip smacking fool running around harassing the girls is absolutely worth it!
Look how happy (read: fat) they are 😂
Anyone else in the can't be bothered with boys club 🙋🏻‍♀️
