With 8 years of experience, Michael Knott, Residential Contractor, Inc. began serving Highlands County in the aluminum specialty industry on March 1, 1983. We began by renting warehouse space on Highway 27 South and started with three employees. and have been here ever since. To date, we have sold over 7,500 jobs, both large and small. We currently employee eight specialty installers and two offic

e personnel. The scope of our work has expanded from basic aluminum construction to general residential remodeling. We install awnings, carports, screen rooms, pool enclosures, glass rooms and utility buildings. Complete exterior home renovations, including vinyl siding and soffit, shutters, gutters and window replacements are a big part of our business. We have designed and installed custom aluminum railings, Bahama shutters, storm panels and accordion shutters.
