Safety is No Accident

Howdy folks. Just wanted to share a lil trick when dropping hazard trees with a lean. Having a hefty chain can prevent the dreaded “barber chair” effect. I wrapped it around 4 times, about a foot above where I wanted to put my face cut, and safely secured with padlocks. Then did a slightly steeper than normal face cut and a normal back cut. It popped and split, as predicted, about 3/4 of the way in on the back cut. As you can see, it worked as is should, preventing dangerous splitting and any blowing out back at me. Just a friendly reminder..
