🌳 Watering Mistakes That Can Hurt Your Trees 💧

Water is essential for healthy trees—but watering the wrong way can actually cause damage.

Some of the most common mistakes include:

💧 Watering too often – Constantly wet soil can suffocate roots and encourage root rot.

☀️ Watering too little – A quick sprinkle usually doesn’t reach the deeper roots where trees need moisture most.

🌳 Watering against the trunk – Concentrate water over the root zone instead of keeping the base of the trunk constantly wet.

⏰ Watering during the hottest part of the day – Early morning is usually a better time because less water is lost to evaporation.

🌱 Forgetting newly planted trees – Young trees need consistent watering while their root systems become established.

Deep, slow watering is generally better than frequent, shallow watering.
