Most companies don’t have a ladder problem. They have a visibility problem.

Ladders move between departments, vehicles, job sites, and storage areas. Without clear ownership and documentation, damaged equipment can return to service, repairs can be forgotten, and inspection dates can be missed.

A strong ladder program provides a clear answer to three questions:

Who owns it?
What condition is it in?
What happens next?

This ladder was not sitting in a scrap pile — it was still in active service.

During inspection, we found that the mobile ladder’s spring-loaded casters and rubber floor protectors needed replacement. These components affect how the ladder rolls, settles onto the floor, and remains stable during use.

We replaced:

* Spring-loaded casters
* Rubber Floor protectors
* OEM materials

This is why reoccurring inspections matter. Equipment can remain in daily use while worn or damaged components gradually become accepted as “normal.”

The goal is not always to replace the entire ladder. When the structure is serviceable and approved repairs are available, targeted maintenance can restore critical components and extend the ladder’s usable life.

Inspect. Identify. Repair. Document.
