⚡ EV Charger Dedicated Circuit Installation ⚡

We recently installed a new dedicated circuit for a homeowner’s EV charger, giving them a safe and reliable way to charge their vehicle right at home.

The circuit was installed specifically for the charger and routed cleanly to the charging location for a professional finished look.

If you’re thinking about adding an EV charger at your home, Freedom Electric can help make sure the electrical side is installed properly and ready to go.

Emergency Service Call ⚡️

Late last night, a vehicle struck a utility pole and caused significant damage to the electrical service feeding one of our customers’ homes, leaving them without power.

We were contacted early this morning and arrived on site at 7:30 AM to assess the damage and begin repairs.

The impact damaged the underground service conductors running from the utility pole to the home. During the repair, we also found that the meter base had been damaged from the conductors being pulled through the conduit.

Our team was able to:

- Remove the damaged service conductors
- Replace the damaged meter base
- Excavate approximately 3 feet to repair and reconnect the underground conduit
- Install a new long-sweep 90 and conduit up the utility pole
- Pull new service conductors from the home to the pole
- Upgrade the grounding system with two ground rods spaced 6 feet apart
- Prepare the service for LUS to reconnect power

The customer called us that morning, and power was restored shortly after lunchtime the same day.

Emergency electrical issues can happen without warning. Our goal is to respond quickly, make the necessary repairs safely and correctly, and get our customers back up and running as soon as possible.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who showed incredible courage in the face of tragedy.

We remember the lives taken too soon, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others.

May we never forget the strength, sacrifice, and unity our country showed that day.🇺🇸

We will never forget. 9/11/2001

Another exterior electrical upgrade completed by Freedom Electric! ⚡

This receptacle was feeding a pond pump, but the existing box was damaged, falling apart, and no longer providing a reliable setup. We also found a faulty photo eye that needed to be replaced.

Our team dug up the existing conduit and replaced the damaged components with all-new hardware and equipment, leaving the customer with a clean, secure, and dependable installation.

We had the chance to meet the Famous Cajun Mamas, and this was definitely a cool moment for us at Freedom Electric!

We’ve been watching and loving their content for a while now. If you haven’t watched their videos yet, you definitely need to go check them out. They’re funny, genuine, and about as Cajun as it gets!

What I love most is how many memories their videos bring back. Watching them cook, talk, and carry on reminds me so much of growing up around my great-grandparents. The food, the sayings, the stories, and just that old-school Cajun way of doing things brings back so many childhood memories.

Also, a big shoutout to Color Nails Club for having us and making the whole experience even better!

It was a pleasure getting to meet y’all in person. Keep doing what y’all are doing and keeping that Cajun culture alive. We love it!
