Before any fence goes in the ground, there's a lot of work that looks nothing like a finished fence.

Measuring the line. Marking post locations. Carrying lumber and pickets into position. Setting posts correctly so everything that follows sits plumb and holds long-term.

We set every post in concrete. Wood gate posts go in with 6x6 lumber for the extra strength a gate opening demands. That foundation work is what the finished product stands on.

The details that don't show in the final photo are usually the ones that matter most.
