Customers contacted me to repair generator work performed by Jason Anderholm of Anderholm Electric State license 1042523 . This concerned me because it was a recurring issue across multiple jobs. During those visits, I observed what I considered defective work involving both gas lines and electrical systems, as well as work performed without required permits.
Based on my firsthand observations, I felt responsible for reporting these issues to the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and local building departments to help protect the homeowners and the public. Copies of the three complaints I filed are attached.
The complaints allege that electrical and plumbing work, including gas-line installations, was performed without required permits, in violation of California Business and Professions Code § 7110 and applicable state and local permit requirements. I requested that CSLB investigate and take appropriate action under §§ 7110 and 7090.
After I reported these concerns, CSLB took action to address the reported issues and require proper completion of the work. My purpose in filing these complaints was to address safety concerns and ensure that the gas lines and electrical installations met applicable permit and inspection requirements.
