Daleet Spector Design

Daleet Spector Design Los Angeles Based Interior Designer Making Life Better Through Good Design. She grew up in Los Angeles but her heritage stems from Latin America.

Daleet Spector has more then twelve years of experience designing residential and commercial interiors. Summer vacations were spent in Venezuela visiting her grandparents – these experiences left a lasting impression and are still a source of inspiration for much of her work. Daleet is known for her clean lines and relaxed, uncomplicated spaces. Often using iconic modern pieces, she also likes mix

ing styles and throwing in unexpected elements; all the while remaining true to the integrity of existing architecture. Prior to turning her focus to interior design, Daleet founded and operated CityYard, a company that designed and developed home accessories with an urban garden twist. Her products were covered widely in publications such as InStyle, Coastal Living, The Washington Post, and Entrepreneur and sold in over 500 stores across the U.S. including retailers like Pottery Barn and Urban Outfitters. Ultimately, more than 1 million dollars of CityYard products were sold. Daleet holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from the joint program between UCLA Extension and Cal Poly Pomona. Before that she received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Design of the Environment and Art History. Daleet's work is uncomplicated - yet detailed, thoughtful and alive. There’s a laid back order to the spaces she designs. She focuses on architectural elements like space planning and remodeling, ensuring function and decor are equally considered. Daleet has a distinct visual style but her work is not repetitive. Having two young children, she understands firsthand the desire for spaces that function well for kids but are sophisticated enough for adults.

A little behind-the-scenes look at this dining table in production. Can’t wait to see it finished. I think it’s going to be a good one 👀✨

Photo day is the best part. ✨ After months (sometimes years) of design, it’s finally time to style, fluff, and zhuzh every last detail while Michael Wells works his camera magic.

Thank you Formosa Casting Studio for trusting us with this beautiful project.

Watch until the end to see where it all started. I can’t wait to share the final photos.

Coffee Table Styling, starting with a blank table and building it up -

‣ Books and coasters to ground it
‣ Flowers for softness
‣ A sculptural wood piece for form
‣ More books and collected shells to finish

It’s less about perfection, more about making it feel lived-in 🤍

Styling day is FUN - flowers, accessories, the final layers coming together.

But it’s always the last step in a much longer design process.

Watch to the end to see where this space began, and the process behind designing and installing the custom bookshelf that brings it all together.

I love a good thrift find - like this print I picked up years ago with no real plan for it. I’ve learned to trust that instinct… if I like something, it always finds its place.

Framed properly, even the simplest piece can feel elevated. This print now lives in a client’s powder room and feels just as special as the space itself.
