These customers wanted to replace this old wood door.
I said why not just paint it for now, you might like it.
They asked how much it would cost and I replied with “let’s wait until I’m done with the house”.
When I was done, they had been such awesome customers that there was no way I was charging them!

You can treat the contractor like your own personal employee or you can treat them with some respect. It’s your choice. It’s also my choice to deal with customers who have zero respect for me.

Things like this are why I’m different than the rest.

This Hardy siding was not flashed and caulked instead. With flashing, moisture will not make it behind the siding so I add flashing in critical areas.

I’ve never seen anyone else do this.

I’ve seen a lot of companies referred over the years on the community pages. Most of these companies were referred from some local business groups and probably aren’t in business anymore. These are the worst referrals in my opinion. I watch these groups switch companies every year like shoes. Every year, “omg, I only use blah blah, they’re the best!” Then a new blah blah blah. 🤣

I’m in my 10th year of business. I was a Painter who started a painting company to paint houses without some idiot telling me what to do. Time in business is something to think about when hiring a contractor. How long have they been in business? If you have an issue, are they going to be around to fix it? 50% won’t be.

Don’t worry! When you pass on my estimate, I won’t respond when you need it fixed! Give your painter a call. 😜🤷‍♂️
