I started reading Candice Owens book while traveling. It’s awesome!

This is Allison Hill. Allison Hill is the CEO of the American Booksellers Association. Recently, Allison sent around an e-mail to its members apologizing for accidentally promoting my book and referring to my work as “racist” and an act of “violence”.
My book, for those of you that have read it, is about my childhood and upbringing which shaped my perspectives and is dedicated and inspired by my grandfather who grew up with real racists, like Allison Hill.
I am calling for the ABA to issue a public apology to me. It is an act of unspeakable racism for any organization run by white elitists to denigrate the work of black people simply because they do not like how they vote. This is UNACCEPTABLE and I simply will not allow the explicit racism of white “progressives” to persist against me and those who choose not to kowtow to their world view.

Newest laundry room upgrade completed! With added cabinetry, granite countertops and plumbing for a wash sink 😀
Ian also sanded, conditioned and resealed all the log walls... I thought they were fine but I have to admit that came out pretty nice!

We are excited to get started on updating our Cabin kitchen! We only just begun but I thought I’d
share some before and after pictures of the sink cabinet we updated! We took off the old tile and put on granite, installed a black stainless farmhouse style sink, a matching faucet, and changed the cabinet k***s. The dishwasher was nearly new so we just changed the face of the dishwasher to match the new black stainless appliances. The existing cabinets are 20 years old, but in excellent condition. We planned on redoing them a different color but after all the other updates, we think the natural pine just might be the best look for this cabin kitchen. Up next we will be redesigning the kitchen island and finish up with all the granite!! We’ll post photos of that soon! We’d love your thoughts!
