🔧 | Pressure Test Not Starting?
We received a question from an HVAC technician about why the Pressure Holding Test wouldn’t start.
Here’s the answer:
On Elitech EMG digital manifolds, the Pressure Holding Test requires system pressure above 30 PSI to activate.
Why?
A pressure holding test works by monitoring pressure changes over a period of time. If the initial pressure is too low, even small pressure fluctuations can have a greater impact on the assessment.
The 30 PSI activation requirement helps ensure there is sufficient system pressure for a more reliable pressure-holding assessment.
So, if the test doesn’t start, check the system pressure first. 🔧
