A couple of weeks ago, a homeowner in Lafayette called our team after noticing several healthy plants around his yard wilting, even though he regularly watered them.

During the inspection, our technician found an active gopher tunnel beneath the affected plants. He opened the tunnel and installed secure underground traps.

The technician returned a few days later to check and reset the traps where needed. During the follow-up visits, our technician found no new gopher activity.

A San Jose homeowner called Smith's Pest Management after noticing large spider webs across the front windows before relatives came to visit.

Our technician removed the webs and egg sacs, then treated the home's exterior, focusing on window frames, eaves, corners, and other places where spiders like to hide.

Before leaving, our tech also shared a few simple tips to help keep spiders away, including reducing outdoor lighting that attracts insects.

Within two weeks, the homeowner reported no new spider webs around the front of the home.

Our technician inspected the yard, located the active tunnel, and placed traps in the main runway.

When our technician returned to check the traps, he found the gopher in one of the traps, and the homeowner didn't see any new mounds over the following weeks.

For a week straight, a Walnut Creek homeowner woke up to find more patches of overturned turf across their yard.

They called Smith's Pest Management, and our tech came the next day. He identified the cause: it turns out raccoons were digging for grubs just below the yard surface.

We set live traps in the raccoons' active travel paths, checked them daily, and safely removed the animals from the property. The digging stopped after the second visit.
