For a material to be sustainable, it must be abundant and easily replaced. Bamboo can grow up to 10 centimeters a day and once harvested can be completely replenished in two-weeks’ time. And because it’s naturally anti-microbial, it’s perfect for personal hygiene products like toothbrushes. Bamboo is more water-resistant than wood, but the self-standing MABLE brush handle keeps it even more protected from water damage so choosing bamboo was a no brainer for us.
