A quality installation is about more than appearance—it's about creating a safer, more reliable space for the people who use it every day.

Our team recently completed a freezer floor overlay, replacing a worn surface with a durable new floor designed to improve safety, longevity, and performance.

Hearing feedback like this is what makes the work worthwhile:

"The floor looks great and feels even greater with a solid footing and no more trip hazards. Your team did a great job."

Another successful project, another happy customer, and another Bragging Rights moment for the SDR team. Great work! 👏

Maintenance Monday | Did You Know? 💧

A clogged condensate drain is one of the most common causes of water leaks and unexpected refrigeration issues.

Over time, algae, dirt, and debris can build up inside the drain line, preventing condensation from draining properly. The result? Water damage, system interruptions, and avoidable repair costs.

Regular preventative maintenance helps keep drain lines clear, protects your equipment, and reduces the risk of unexpected downtime.

Don't wait for a small clog to become a big repair. Contact San Diego Refrigeration to keep your refrigeration systems running efficiently.

Walk-in coolers don't just quit on you. They usually try to warn you first — most people just don't know what to look for.
Here are five things worth paying attention to:
① Frost buildup on the evaporator coils — the defrost cycle isn't keeping up
② Temps running slightly warm — a small drift now becomes a big problem later
③ Compressor running constantly — it's working too hard to hold temperature
④ Sounds that weren't there before — motors and fans don't get louder for no reason
⑤ Water on the floor — drain line or worse, but either way it needs a look
None of these are emergencies on their own. But ignore them long enough and one of them will be.

Maintenance Monday 🔧

Dirty coils may seem like a small issue, but they can lead to higher energy costs, reduced cooling performance, and unnecessary strain on your equipment.

This before-and-after is a great example of how routine preventative maintenance can help improve system efficiency, extend equipment life, and reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns.

A clean system is a more reliable system.

If your equipment hasn’t been serviced recently, now is the time to schedule preventative maintenance before the summer heat puts additional demand on your system.
