Luxury is in the details, and sometimes the most impressive features are the ones you barely notice.

This stunning kitchen features rift-cut white oak cabinetry paired with beautifully integrated Miele appliances, creating a seamless, sophisticated look.

The Miele appliances are designed to blend effortlessly into the custom cabinetry, concealing the appliances behind matching cabinet panels for a clean, uninterrupted design.

The result? A kitchen where high-end performance meets timeless craftsmanship.

Turning dead space into something special.

We transformed the unused space under this staircase into a custom walnut w**e bar, designed to feel like it was always meant to be there. A small space with a big impact.

Welcome to the Borrelli Design team, Agustin Alvarez!

We’ve known Agustin for eight years through his work with Bradford Fox Builders, partnering on downtown remodeling projects. When Bradford retired, we knew we wanted Agustin on our team.

With more than 15 years of construction experience and a wide range of skills in electrical work, plumbing, and framing, Agustin brings valuable knowledge to our projects in the field. We’re incredibly lucky to have him and excited to continue working together!

Welcome to the team, Rachael Borrelli!

As our Office Manager, Rachael handles accounting, bookkeeping, and daily office operations, helping keep Borrelli Design organized and running smoothly.

Her connection to the business began more than 30 years ago, when she worked alongside her father, Michael Borrelli, handling the books while her son Ben was still in preschool. Today, she brings years of experience to the team and gets to work alongside all three of her sons, Ben, Dustyn, and Isaac.

For Rachael, working with her sons each day is a dream come true. We’re grateful for the experience, care, and family pride she brings to the office!

Part 2 | The Showstopper

The centerpiece of this La Jolla home is a breathtaking 20’ x 6’ island—designed to bring everyone together while making a bold statement.

Paired with 84 inches of integrated Gaggenau refrigeration and a full suite of premium appliances, this kitchen perfectly balances luxury, function, and timeless design.

We’re incredibly proud to have partnered with Amanda Byrne of AB Design Studio to bring this vision to life and grateful to our team for the craftsmanship that made it possible.

Part 1 | The Details

Every once in a while, a project comes along that reminds us why we love what we do. This La Jolla home is one of them.

Designed by Amanda Byrne of AB Design Studio and built by Borrelli Design, this home features Leeuwenburgh Lignapal veneer throughout, Wurzcraft solid walnut beaded doors, solid walnut dovetail drawers, Cambria quartz with a custom solid brass inlay, Rev-A-Shelf storage solutions, walnut drawer organizers, a custom dog feeding station, and a hidden pantry complete with an integrated w**e refrigerator, prep sink, and illuminated shelving.

And this is only Part 1.

Stay tuned for Part 2, where we’ll reveal the stunning 20’ x 6’ island, the integrated Gaggenau appliances, and 84 inches of integrated refrigeration.

Not every client wants the TV to be the focal point… and honestly, we get it.

This custom piece was designed for a home with floor to ceiling windows and incredible views. The goal was simple: don’t block them.

With the push of a button, the TV rises when you want it and disappears completely when you don’t. Clean, functional, and built to keep the focus where it belongs.

This is what custom design is all about. Building around how you actually live.

If you’re thinking about something like this for your space, let’s talk.
