Laini's Little Sewer Cover Project ~ Beauty is Everywhere ~ Everyone is invited to participate. All metal street covers are eligible. Photo collection is ongoing! Good Sewer Cover times!

The goal of this community photo project is to document the beauty and uniqueness of these often overlooked metal objects in our streets. This project was started iin April 2011 and inspired by the late Robin Porter. At this time, April 23, 2011, it has begun to take on a life of its own. This page is meant to be a centralized place for people to get information, see photos, post photos, and learn

about events and happenings related to the project. At some point, there will be an exhibit and a little book is in the works. So if you're interested in participating in either, please send in your sewer cover photos! All are welcome to participate in both. You can submit a photo by simply posting it on this page's wall, or email a high res photo to me at [email protected]. By sending in a photo, you are also giving permission for it to be used in this project. All photos will include credits of who took them and where they were taken. All interested contributors will be kept in the loop about any exhibit which would include one of your photos. Again, credit will always be given and ideally, you should be at the opening!
