We are saddened to learn of the passing of legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, whose unmistakable vision and creativity transformed the world of contemporary art.

T.B. Penick was honored to have had the opportunity to help bring Kusama’s artistic vision to life at 33 Tehama in San Francisco, home to her vibrant Flowers That Bloom at Midnight. Working alongside the project team, we incorporated her iconic polka-dot design into the surrounding plaza and building lobby using custom Lithocrete finishes, extending her artwork into the built environment.

We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in bringing Kusama’s vision to life and to have contributed to a project that celebrated her unmistakable creativity and artistic legacy.

We're honored to have been part of the Mingei International Museum renovation and to have worked alongside Jennifer Luce and her exceptional team, as well as the leadership at the Mingei Museum, to help transform this iconic San Diego landmark.
