🌹 Beatrice 🌹

I feel like Beatrice could convince even the people who swear they don’t like yellow roses. 💛

Beatrice is one of David Austin’s cut-flower roses, and her blooms are absolutely gorgeous. She opens from a ruffled cup into a big, full rosette with buttery golden-yellow petals surrounded by softer creamy-blonde outer petals.

And then there’s the fragrance. 😍 She has a beautiful myrrh scent with hints of fruit and almond.

There’s something about that warm buttery color combined with the super-full David Austin bloom that makes her feel like a little burst of sunshine in the garden. ☀️🌹

If you love BIG, romantic roses, Abraham Darby is hard to beat.

His blooms are absolutely massive. He is deeply cupped and packed with petals in a gorgeous blend of apricot, peach and soft pink. But one of my favorite things about Abraham Darby is his fragrance. He has a wonderfully strong, fruity scent that makes you want to stop and smell every single bloom.

He is one of the older David Austin varieties, and to me, he has that wonderfully extravagant English rose look that makes the older Austins so special. 🌹

His color can also shift as the blooms open, so you can end up with several different shades of peach, pink and apricot on the plant at once. 😍

There’s something about a classic soft pink rose that gets me every time.

Olivia Rose Austin has the most beautiful cupped, rosette-shaped blooms filled with layers of soft pink petals. She has that quintessential romantic David Austin look, but she’s also known for her excellent health and repeat flowering which makes her even easier to love.

If you’re dreaming of that romantic English cottage garden look, Olivia is definitely one to consider.
