Happy Sunday, everyone! 🍂 We have a lot of pots on the fire as we head into the holiday season!

This week, we’re welcoming the high school agricultural class to learn alongside us and help plant approximately 1,030 tulip bulbs for our spring picking events! 🌷 Between planting, vintage truck photo bookings, and planning our Christmas event, there’s plenty happening around the farm.

Our Christmas vision is BIG! 🎄✨ We want you to feel as though you’ve stepped into a storybook Christmas wonderland, surrounded by twinkling lights, festive music, Santa and beautiful decorations. Families can enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, shop with local vendors inside the barn, and capture special Christmas memories with Santa.

Pictured are a few of Sweethaven’s products you’ll find at the event, just in case you’re already thinking about Christmas gifts! 🎁 As we get closer, I’ll share a separate post highlighting our local vendors and the wonderful things they’ll have available, too.

For now, though…let’s keep enjoying fall! 🍁 My heart is here for the pumpkins and changing leaves, even if my business-planning brain has Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas happening all at once. 🤣

🎄 CHRISTMAS BOOK STACK PRE-ORDERS ARE OPEN! 🎄

Our personalized wooden book stacks have always been one of our most popular items, especially around Christmas! They make such a beautiful and meaningful gift because every stack can be completely customized with family names, special dates, Bible verses, favorite sayings, Christmas quotes, or just about anything you’d like. ❤️

This year, I’m doing things a little differently and opening Christmas pre-orders early.

The holiday season gets incredibly busy for us, and because each book stack is handmade and customized individually, I want to make sure I have plenty of time to give every order the attention it deserves. Pre-ordering helps me plan ahead, purchase materials, organize custom orders, and avoid becoming overwhelmed with last-minute orders as we get closer to Christmas.

Saturday picks 💐

My zinnias are officially taller than me 😳😂🩷💙 and somehow still going strong in October!

We’re still welcoming guests for u-pick flowers, but sadly, the season will be coming to a close soon. 🥹🌸

Next up… TULIPS! 🌷 They’ll be going in the ground soon, and I’m already dreaming about spring at Sweethaven. 🤍

Enjoying every last little bit of this flower season while we can. 💐

The blooms are still thriving, and we’re still welcoming guests to Sweethaven Haynie Farm to come wander the rows, pick some flowers, and soak up what’s left of the season. 💐

There’s still a little bit of summer left in October, and we plan on enjoying every last bloom. 🤍

🍂📸 SHE’S READY FOR PICTURES!!! 📸🍂

Our little vintage truck is officially dressed for fall, & I seriously cannot contain my excitement! 🥹🧡

There’s something so charming about knowing this girl has a history of her own. She’s been around since 1949 & I can only imagine the places she’s been, the people she’s carried & the stories she could tell. Now, all these years later, she gets to be part of a whole new chapter—helping families capture memories of their own right here at Sweethaven Haynie Farm. 🤎

I’ve dreamed about creating little spaces here where families can come, slow down, make memories, & have beautiful photos to look back on. Seeing this one finally come together makes my heart so happy.

We are officially ready to welcome photographers, families, little ones, couples, and anyone wanting those cozy fall pictures! 🍁🎃

There’s just something extra special about an old truck, pumpkins, mums, hay bales, & West Virginia fall.

She has a history. Now she gets to be part of yours. 🥹🍂📸

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

🌸 THE FLOWER FIELDS ARE OPEN THIS WEEK! 🌸

I took a much-needed break from our social media/ business over the Labor Day weekend to simply slow down, unplug & enjoy time with my family & goodness, I needed it. 🤍

I’m feeling recharged, refreshed & ready to hit the ground running—& apparently, the flower field is too! 😂🌸

While I was away, more of our zinnias absolutely BLOOMED! Some of our zinnia plants are now reaching nearly 5 FEET TALL & are loaded with beautiful blooms! 😍🌺

And the field had another surprise waiting for me… more flowers are coming in like crazy! Our second row of gladiolus, which I planted after the first, is getting SO close to blooming! 🌸 I honestly thought things might start slowing down by now, but the flowers have other plans!!

We have flowers that are ready & NEED to be picked - especially the sunflowers, so flower picking is OPEN this week! 💐

Come spend a little peaceful time in the field & create a bouquet straight from the farm.

Happy Friday, friends!! ✨

So many exciting things are happening around here lately 🤍

This week we had our upper cabinets and cabinet doors installed. Caleb also finished the beautiful pillars for the kitchen island. It’s finally starting to feel like our dream kitchen is coming together 🥹

I think what I’m most excited about though are the copper hardware pieces, handles, and sink faucet still waiting to be installed. I absolutely love the vintage warmth they add against the clean white ✨

I’ve also been adding lots of new products to our Etsy shop, and orders have been coming in which has been such a blessing lately 🤍

Last night, I sanded the pantry & will be painting this weekend. Caleb has a super cool design for the pantry that I am stoked for.

We also have a big wood pickup planned this coming week for a project we’ve been so excited to start — we’ve just been waiting for a break in all this rain 🌧️

And finally… garden season is HERE 🌱
My seedlings are ready, the weather finally seems warm enough to stay, and everything is going into the ground this week. I can’t wait to watch our cut flower garden and veggie garden come to life 🌻🥕✨
