Not every service call comes with easy access.
Sometimes just getting into the attic is part of the job itself. Ladders, tight openings, and a little extra work can all come before our technicians even get started.
Where is your attic access located in your home?

This is exactly why checking your filter matters.
Everything you see built up here is what the filter caught before it could continue through the HVAC system. Once a filter gets this packed, airflow can become restricted and the system may have to work harder.
A small part of your AC system can make a pretty big difference. When did you last replace yours?

Your AC can be running, but is it moving air the way it should?
This blower wheel is responsible for pushing conditioned air through the ductwork and into the home. When buildup starts covering the blades like this, it can interfere with how efficiently that air moves.
Sometimes what’s affecting your comfort is hiding inside the system where you’d never think to look.

Homeowners, there’s a lot more to your HVAC system than what you see inside your home.
This attic is packed with ductwork, equipment, drain lines, and connections all working together. Looking at this picture, what catches your attention first?

Homeowners, ever wonder how a blower wheel ends up looking like this?

As your AC pulls air through the system, dust, pet hair, and other particles can make their way past the filter and slowly collect on the blower wheel over time. This buildup doesn’t happen overnight, which is why changing your filters regularly and keeping up with maintenance can make a difference.
When was the last time yours was checked?

That tank you see is filled with nitrogen, a dry gas that HVAC technicians use for different types of service work. Here, our technician is using the nitrogen to flush the AC drain line.
The pressure from the nitrogen helps push buildup or a blockage through the line so it can drain properly.

Homeowners, this is one part of your AC system that can slowly collect buildup without you ever seeing it. How much do you think this could affect the airflow moving through your home?
Regular maintenance gives your technician a chance to catch buildup like this before it gets worse.

Homeowners, do you know what our technician is checking here?
There are a lot of things that get checked during an AC maintenance that you may never think about. Any guesses why it is moving?

Homeowners, ever wonder why our technician has his phone pointed at your AC drain line?
He’s recording while flushing the drain line so he can verify that everything is flowing out properly. It’s one of the things we check during an AC maintenance to make sure the job is being done right.
When was the last time your AC drain line was flushed?
