From rough lumber to living history.
This custom herringbone feature wall and solid wood mantle were built from alder. We cut, planed, then finished to complement the client’s existing cabinetry and backsplash design.

I picked a live-edge spalted alder timber for the shelf and recessed supports rated for over 250lbs. The antique coat rack sat in storage for more than 20 years before finding its home here.
