Happy Fourth of July, from our family to yours! 🇺🇸

From our family to yours—Happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸
Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of men made a decision that would change the course of history forever. They pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to something they believed in deeply enough to die for—the radical idea that freedom is not granted by a government, but endowed by a Creator.
They were not perfect men. But they were brave ones. And because of their courage, we get to live the lives we live today.
Freedom means Blair & J.R. get to grow up on their grandfather’s land, running through the same fields he loved, building memories we will carry for generations. It means Cole gets to operate a third generation excavation business. It means I get to curate and design, helping others bring their visions—both edible and non-edible—to life and call it a living. It means we get to choose our hard. That is not small. That is everything.
Today we honor every man and woman who has ever stood in a uniform, left their family behind, or laid down their life so that this freedom could be preserved. We will never be able to repay that debt. But we can remember it. We can refuse to take it for granted. And we can raise children who understand the cost of what they have been given.
Above all—we are grateful to the One who authored freedom long before 1776. Who said the truth will set you free. Who demonstrated what it looks like to lay down a life for others. Every good gift in this nation traces back to Him.
May your Fourth be filled with faith, family, and the kind of gratitude that only comes when you truly understand what it cost.
God bless every one of you.
God bless our troops.
And God bless America.
