Before the storm:
• Check fences, gates, posts, and loose boards.
• Trim weak or overhanging tree branches, especially near your home, driveway, and power lines.
• Secure patio furniture, umbrellas, decorations, and other outdoor items.
• Clear leaves and debris from gutters, drains, and pathways.
• Protect or move items that could be damaged by wind or flooding.
