Some properties just need someone to care about them again.
We cleared the overgrowth, restored the lines, and gave this fence its dignity back. This is the foundation. Now that it’s clean, we can build something that works better!

Rain, rain, come and play
If you don’t come I don’t get paid
My customers are not amazed
By brown lawns baking in the haze
My plants are thirsty, skies are gray
Come wash the drought and heat away

Shell mulch looks clean. Your Areca hates it.
Most people think shell around their palms is a low-maintenance win but here’s what’s actually happening:

Shell heats up in the Florida sun and raises soil temps, stressing roots and burning off moisture before the tree has a chance to absorb it

Unlike wood chips or organic mulch, shells return zero nutrients back to the soil. No breakdown. No biology. No benefit.

Your Areca is sitting on a hot, sterile surface when it should be rooted in cool, living soil. Swap the shell for wood chips, let the soil breathe, and watch the difference.

Did you know your landscaper is required by Florida law to have this certification to legally apply fertilizer to your property?

Most people have never heard of the Florida Green Industries BMP Program — and honestly, a lot of landscapers haven’t either.

It covers how fertilizer, irrigation, and pesticide practices directly impact Florida’s waterways. The science behind doing this work without trashing the environment we all live in. Personally, I think every landscaper should be required to have this, even if they’re just cutting grass, because the mismanagement of clipping and other organic debris can contribute to nutrient run-off and red tides.

Ask your landscaper if they’re certified. If they look at you blankly… that’s your answer.

Walked past this Canary Island Date Palm and had to stop. Classic magnesium deficiency - and right beside it, one that already lost the fight. Most people think palms just die. They don’t. They starve slowly while nobody’s paying attention. This is exactly why I started the organic soil health side of EcoEden - soil health isn’t aesthetic, it’s survival.

Cut your palms like this and you’ll be calling me to fix it within a year.

Hurricane cuts rob your tree of its nutrient reserves — those yellow spots are the result. Prune right, feed right, and your palms thrive. Without an intervention soon, this tree will look horrible within 1 year.

Most lawn care companies apply the same product to everything and call it fertilization.

We don’t do that.

EcoEden Landscapes is now offering a full soil health program for clients in Pinellas County, Florida! We start with a soil test, build a custom application schedule around Florida’s seasons, and follow up throughout the year to make sure it’s working.

Every plant on your property has different nutritional needs - your turf, your palms, and your ornamentals all get their own protocol. The ingredients we use are natural and slow-release: fish hydrolysate, worm castings, kelp extract, biochar, humic acid, and much more.

Nothing synthetic.

Nothing generic.

This is a year-long program with a real process behind it.

Carmine 🐐 went rogue. No one saw it coming.

Big two weeks at EcoEden Landscapes. Our guy Carmine - marketing manager, free spirit, certified escape artist - decided the best way to market this company was to just… do it himself. Broke out, ran his own campaign, didn’t ask for permission. Honestly? Respect.
Then he came back, rolled up his sleeves, and helped us knock out a massive liriope installation right here in St. Pete. Row after row of one of Florida’s best ground covers — drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and beautiful once it fills in.
Carmine wore many hats this month. Most of them were invisible. All of them were earned.
Thanks for the hustle and the help, Carmine. EcoEden wouldn’t be the same without you.
