We are looking for a team member to work as a professional landscape installer.
Landscape installation may include planting, edging, mulching, sodding and hardscaping such as installing fences, decks, stone walls, patios, and concrete. Site prep may include removal of rock, cement, stone, plant material, and other demo.
Most work is completed by hand although we subcontract a bobcat when appropriate.
*Qualifications:
Experience preferred (1-2+ years) or education in horticulture/landscape industry
Clean driving record and license
ablility to lift moderately heavy loads
have a positive, creative and forward-thinking attitude
*What to expect:
Our small team meets at 8am in West St. Paul
After a quick meeting, we load appropriate tools and head to the job site.
Most sites are located in St. Paul, some in Minneapolis, or occasionally the very near suburb.
During the day, you may be required to prep a new job site or help install a current design. An experienced team member is often on site unless you have credible knowledge to perform on your own.
The day is typically over at 5-6pm. Few days are longer and occasional Saturdays are optional.
*Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $16-$30 and depends largely on experience and education.
We pay overtime if you meet 40hours+ in the week.
Our season starts in April (as soon as ground thaws) and end mid-late November.

We are a small, family friendly company. Work hours are flexible and we are willing to work with most schedules, whether you need more or less time throughout the season or need to end early for school, etc.
Our goal is to enjoy the day, the work, and the people involved. Therefore, while our expectations are high, tension is low.
We enjoy creative input from all our team members and are focused on building artful installations.
