If you can see vegetation growing in your gutters, that is the very last stage of the blockage. Soil builds up in the gutters bit by bit, which is impossible to spot from the ground, then seeds fall into gutters and start to grow on accumulated debris. This leads to blockages and loosened guttering system due to increased weight. This can be prevented by regular cleaning of the gutters allowing easy flow for the rainwater. We recommend getting your gutters cleaned and checked at least once a year, unless there are big trees around the house or loads of moss on the roof, then more frequent cleanings are required.
