🌿 Heading Back to Auburn with Another Green Piece! 🪵

This home was the perfect place for hosting small events and spending time with family, so we wanted to create as much storage as possible while still making each piece feel unique to the home.

This bar and pantry storage area features two details that are especially meaningful to this house: the doors and the back panels were both reused from the original home!

The doors were originally windows that had years of wear and tear. We gave them a new life by restoring and transforming them into doors for this piece.

The back panels are the original paneling from the upstairs bedrooms and hallway. We carefully sanded and cut them down to fit behind and underneath the cabinets in this area.

These original panels were also used in the kitchen, which we'll be featuring in the next few weeks! If you want to see how they turned out, stay tuned to see how this beautiful space came together.

🍷 Custom W**e Storage Build for a Home in Auburn! 🍾

For this home renovation, we wanted to make the most of the space underneath the stairs. The client had seen a w**e storage cabinet online that they loved and asked us to create a custom piece designed specifically for their home.

One of the unique challenges with this build was incorporating and hiding an air intake unit within the piece while keeping the storage functional and accessible.

I think this is one of the best pieces we've created this year! The combination of the unique design and the challenges of working within the existing space made this a really fun project.

And the rest of the home is just as fun as this piece! Stay tuned for more from this renovation, and let us know if you think every home needs a custom w**e storage piece like this! 🍷

Home laundry and storage room for a family of eight! 🧺

For this project, we needed to create a multifunctional space for laundry, storage, and school supplies for the family’s six kids.

This was our first time creating a locker build of this size, with six spaces built into one large cabinet. Each now has their own space to keep all their school supply needs.

This piece came together so well, and we love how much storage and functionality we were able to fit into this space!

Welcome to our next kitchen build! 🔨

This beautiful Loomis home features a unique kitchen layout with multiple refrigerators and plenty of space for entertaining. As part of a full-home remodel, the goal was to transform the space into a larger, more functional area where the family could cook, gather, and entertain.

One of the more challenging aspects of this project was incorporating a full-size refrigerator, freezer, and w**e refrigerator, along with two dishwashers on either side of the sink. With so many appliances to work around, creating a layout that was both functional and cohesive was an important part of the design.

Let us know what your favorite part of this build is! I think mine is the kitchen island, especially the under-cabinet storage by the stairs. And don’t forget about the modern farmhouse style throughout the home! 🌿

More photos and details from this home build are coming soon, along with lots more kitchens!

💙 Heading back to Elk Grove for a fun and colorful kitchen!

With a mid-century modern feel, we created a fully custom blue kitchen that brings so much personality and life to this home. From an open-concept design with a countertop that extends into a bar area to a custom office bookcase in the background, this project was so fun to create and adds a fun splash of color to our portfolio.

☀️🏖️ Heading down to beautiful, sunny Santa Barbara!

We headed outside of our usual area and down to Santa Barbara to work on this amazing home remodel! From custom stain colors and unique pullouts to the beautiful addition of reeded door designs, everything came together to create a unique and fun beach house atmosphere inside and out.

For this project, we created a true custom stain using both Zar's Beach House and Malibu Gray. The client also requested several custom additions, including specialty pullouts and a unique feature for us, a fully custom produce drawer! Other pullouts included knife storage, silverware organizers, upright utensil holders, and more. The client chose to pair our cabinetry with marble countertops and under-cabinet lighting.

Little fun fact for everyone! This was a true built-in project. The fridge cabinet was assembled directly on the floor inside the home! It was definitely a challenge getting these cabinets into place, but it was worth every tough moment.

Let us know what you think of this remodel and stay tuned because we have some fun color combinations coming soon!

Home in Elk Grove, Sacramento

This project was an insurance remodel for a kitchen. The client had a leak last year and needed a full renovation. They requested a white kitchen to match their bright walls.

The cabinets were installed at the start of the year, and we returned for a few touch-ups on the drawers after the renovation was complete.

As always, we used Alderwood cabinetry with a lacquer spray finish. The client provided the handles.

Another successful transformation completed.

✨ Home in Newcastle ✨

This farmhouse-inspired home included a renovation of an upstairs bedroom wardrobe. The original wall was covered with small built-in cabinets. We expanded the space to provide the client’s daughter with more room for clothes and other storage. We also renovated her bathroom and her sister’s closet (not pictured).

The client requested that the two end doors be mirrored, giving access to a full-length mirror right next to the clothing.

Such a fun and functional transformation for this family home! 🔨

✨ Home in the Westpark Neighborhood, Roseville ✨

This renovation is part of a phased remodel, beginning with two upstairs bathrooms. More updates from this beautiful home will be coming next year.

For this project, the client requested bamboo cabinetry 🎋. This was a new material for us and a great environmentally friendly option. The finished result turned out beautifully and we’re excited to work with bamboo more in the future.

The goal was to create additional storage and two kid-friendly vanities that worked around existing sink plumbing. We designed custom drawer shapes and completed a custom fit on site, resulting in cabinetry that is both functional and durable, built to handle everyday family life.

Let us know what you think about the bamboo and what other projects you’d like to see next! 🔨

Fun side post from our usual content!

Over the weekend, I went to a neighborhood holiday party and realized I couldn’t find one of my charcuterie boards. So I headed back to the shop and made one using leftover wood from a recent project.

The board is built from a solid bamboo sheet and sized 12 x 24 inches. Used kitchen oil to add a food-safe finish to it. I added vintage glass k***s as handles, and it turned out to be the perfect piece for our cheesecake platter!

Looks like I’ll be adding these to my lineup of services now! 🔨😉
