Rutland Tile Company

This was one of the manufacturer events I was blessed to attend recently with my sidekick Lance Scorse. The tile industry is full of manufacturers who value educating and supporting the men and women who make the tile industry thrive every day and LATICRETE International, Inc. stands out. Every year my goal is to attend as many events as possible so that I can stay updated on what is available in the industry. This equips me to provide each client with the best possible solutions to each project.

Just a couple of small filler jobs. I love doing large projects, but smaller projects can be nice. Sometimes all you need is a small update to bring some new life into your home.

I have been blessed to do business with Douglas Maynes at Best Tile of Vermont in Williston for the 10 years I have been in the tile industry. I was happy to celebrate his retirement and the passing of the torch to his son Dan.

The tile industry has been fortunate to have a partner like Doug who understands the value of partnering and supporting contractors. Every year, Doug has sponsored numerous events to keep people like me on the forefront of what is being developed in the industry. I know Dan will carry on that legacy and I look forward to my continued relationship with the amazing crew at Best Tile.

Congratulations and happy retirement, Doug!

LATICRETE International, Inc. is a manufacturer that I do business with on every project I take on.

Their president has an amazing heart and passion for helping the men and women in the construction industry. Out of this passion, the mindset matters: logo was born. A simple and creative reminder for us to hone ourselves as much internally just like we hone our craft.

Please read take a look at the company's post below, it's an opportunity to help out a hurting family by purchasing mindset matters: apparel. The proceeds will go directly to an industry professional's grieving family, helping ease the financial burden while they cope with their loss.

I just wanted to give a general PSA...please be aware that businesses are currently experiencing an influx of fake Google reviews, I received one this morning for the first time after talking to other contractors about the same issue. These are fairly obviously fake, if you look at the profile of the person leaving the review, you will see a bunch of 1 star reviews all at once for many different business, at times in different parts of the country. Please give businesses a second look when you run across recent 1 star reviews.

Google Maps get your act together, if you can automatically delete real customer's reviews, you can certainly take care of the fake ones.
